Here’s to the fall season! Summer is winding down, and I’m ready for new adventures and experiences in the new season. Still staying close to home, but it’s time to spice things up, and I’m not talking about pumpkin spice! What’s on your bucket list? I have a few things I’d like to try this fall. It’s the perfect time of year. A new, colorful landscape, cooler weather, and fewer crowds to make social distancing a lot easier, it’s time for some excitement! Don’t let this fall season pass you by without spicing it up with these must-do adventures!
Go On A Hike
It’s the perfect time of year for spectacular views of the season’s foliage as it begins to change colors. Get out and get the exercise, fresh air and some great photos. If you choose to hike alone, it’s a great time for reflection and self-care too! I can’t wait to go hiking in some of my state parks! However, if you want to explore more outside your local area, there are quite a few to choose from. One of the best hiking trails: White Oak Canyon Trail, Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. Check the website for COVID-19 information.
Book A Wine Tasting
With COVID-safety precautions in place, there are wineries are available for private tours for your pleasure. Take a tour with a professional guide and get a behind the scenes experience. Deepen your knowledge of wines, while discovering the various tastes that best match your palate! Some of my favorite places are upstate New York. Click here for a few of the tours.
Enjoy A Hot Air Balloon Ride
Here’s an adventure! And with a beautiful view! Add this to your list of fall adventures and you won’t regret the panoramic views of bright, beautiful colors of the new season from high above! Head to Asheville, North Carolina to enjoy beautiful backdrops of the colorful leaves and mountains in the Pisgah National Forest with Asheville Hot Air Balloons. Fly over some the most rugged terrain and view the beautiful Custer Valley in South Dakota with Black Hills Balloons. Or soar over Napa’s wine country for spectacular views of the fall’s foliage with Napa Valley Balloons, Inc. Go ahead, book your fall adventure!
Take A Road Trip
One of the best fall adventures is to get in your car and drive! You can keep it simple and local, or plan a longer trip outside your state. Just pack an overnight bag and don’t forget your mask and sanitizer! Get on the road and enjoy the fall scenery. Take a New York adventure through the Adirondacks, or South Carolina’s Cherokee Byway, or for a small town feel, head to Vermont’s Green Mountain Byway.
Book A Foliage Tour
Do you really want to make the best of your fall adventure? Book a foliage tour and capture breathtaking views of the country’s most spectacular, colorful scenery. Treat yourself to a day of exploring the White Mountains of New Hampshire, or enjoy the country scenic roads of Rhode Island on an incredible New England Foliage Tour. There are so many options and places to visit. Check out Get Your Guide for more adventures!
With all of these adventures, don’t forget to be safe! While most places are practicing extra safety precautions, please don’t forget to do your part. Wash your hands, keep sanitizer handy, and of course, wear your masks when necessary. Looking for a great mask? Try Boomer Naturals Nano-Silver Reusable Protective Cloth Face Masks. Made from a company who cares about your well-being and quality of life, and in these times, what’s more important than living a happier, healthier life!
